Registrations are now open for the 37th Annual Folk Music Ontario (FMO) Conference on October 12-15th, 2023 in London, Ontario.

The FMO Conference is Canada’s largest industry event for Folk Music. Each year, the community gathers to strengthen connections, develop careers, and create opportunities through showcasing, professional development, peer sharing, one-on-one meetings, mentorship, networking, and more.

The members' rate is for active FMO Members only. To take advantage of this, you will be asked to log in to our brand-new registration portal! The system will recognize you as a member and automatically give you the special rate. *Youth: (Age 25 and under as of or by October 12, 2023)

ARTISTS: If you are an artist who has applied to showcase at the event, please take advantage of the Artist Rate and the Band Member/Side-Player Rate.

**Every artist needs to register at least one member of their group at the regular artist rate of $200. Additional band members or side players can then register at the rate of $75. The Band Member / Side Player Rate allows entry for the full conference, and access to all activities and venues.

The Conference will take place over four days: October 12-15, 2023
Most activities will take place at the host hotel, The Doubletree by Hilton London. Some showcases will be taking place at outside venues around London (locations TBA)
Once you complete your registration, you will be given a link to reserve a room at the delegate discount rate at our partner hotels
The Opening Reception will take place at 4:00pm on Thursday, Oct.12
The Ontario Folk Music Awards will close the conference, taking place on Sunday, October 15, concluding at 4:00pm

CANCELLATION POLICY

Registration fees are refundable minus a $75 fee if you cancel anytime up to 30 days prior to the event. FMO does not refund the processing fees.
Alternatively, you can defer your registration to next year’s conference with no fee anytime up to 30 days prior to the event. A deferral to next year’s conference has no cash value and cannot be refunded.
Substitutions of participants on a registration are allowed, but must be made with the conference registration staff prior to the event. To change your registration to another person, contact erica@folkmusicontario.ca
All refunds, deferrals, or cancellations must be received in writing via email to erica@folkmusicontario.ca
There are no refunds, deferrals, or cancellations after 30 days prior to the event, including due to illness or weather.
No shows for the event will not receive a refund or credit toward a future event.

Each year the finest of Folk Music is celebrated at the Ontario Folk Music Awards.

This year, in conjunction with the Folk Music Ontario Conference, we will be celebrating our nominees and winners at an awards gala on Sunday, October 15th, at the Aeolian Hall in London, Ontario.

Nominations for the 2023 Ontario Folk Music Awards will open in May, 2023.
